The 3rd month of the year is a great time to plant trees, as it's known as "3/5 and I help participate in this planting event."
Here are some notes on the activity:
- "不知细叶谁裁出？二月春风似剪刀。”
A tree's life is tied to its roots. Today, we'll plant trees, which have roots that can last a century or more!
On March 5th (or the "3/5 day"), the sun shines bright and the air feels fresh.
We gathered with our parents at the entrance of朝晖初中 (朝晖中学) and began digging for trees:
- "我和妈妈一起参加这次有意义的活动."
We went to plant two types of trees: an orange tree and a birch tree. Each was cut carefully, with tools borrowed from nearby neighbors!
- "香樟树威风地挺立着，修剪过的树叶轻轻地飘动着。希望我下次来看它时，它已经变得枝繁叶茂，健康茁壮。"
Once the trees were planted, we went back to play games like "拔河."
After an hour of waiting, it was time to leave for school. In the end, our trees added a touch of greenery to the area!
